Windows Inn, a Bed and Breakfast is situated in historic McRae,
Georgia. Lyle and Janis Lewis will be your hosts as you experience
not only a Bed and Breakfast, but A True Southern Inn. The inn was built as a private home in 1913 by the Smith's in the Edwardian era which resulted in this homes graceful and relaxing decor and atmosphere.
The majestic windows,
high ceilings, hardwood floors, period furnishings and original
light fixtures add to the  antiquity
of the home. Friendly innkeepers, peaceful gardens, a large front
porch, comfortable chairs, soft beds, and delicious breakfasts are
just a hint of what awaits you at The Windows Inn Bed and Breakfast.
The
Windows Inn is located at 206 Fourth Avenue, McRae, Georgia. The
Windows Inn Bed & Breakfast offers four comfortable guest rooms.
Each room has a floral theme and has been decorated with period antiques and decor relating to the historic ambiance of the Smith home.
A full southern breakfast awaits you each morning
in the dining room. Your breakfast menu could include Southern Touch Quiche, Parmesean Eggs, Baked Breakfast Casserole, Puffed French Toast, Sausage, Bacon, Fresh Fruit, Muffins, etc.
McRae,
Georgia offers the opportunity to drift back to days when the living
was easy in the gentle Georgia breezes. You can choose from a variety
of activities in and around McRae, including fishing, golf, antiquing,
and biking, or you may choose to visit one of the numerous historical
sites in the vicinity. The Windows Inn is an easy drive to major
Georgia cities of Atlanta and Macon.
